HET VOORBEELD

Fabrikant Henschel bouwde in 1914 twee drie-assige meterspoor-locs. De ene Loc werd als Heiß- en de andere als Naßdampflok uitgevoed. De Württembergische militaire spoorwegeenheid wilde middels tests het verschil in Heiß- en Naßdampf onderzoeken. De tests werden uitgevoerd op de Harzqeurbahn in de buurt van Drei Annen Hohne. In 1917 kon één van de twee locs door de Harzquerbahn worden overgenomen en kreeg het nummer NWE 6 (Heißdampf, de latere 99 6101). De andere volgde als NWE 7 in 1920 (Naßdampf, de latere 99 6102). In 1949 werd de Harzquerbahn geprivatiseerd en gingen de locs mee over naar de Deutsche Reichsbahn. De loks werden vooral in het Rollbockverkeer in Wernigerode ingezet. Daardoor worden deze locs ook wel Rollbockloks genoemd. In 1993 werd de Harzquerbahn weer zelfstandig en werden de locs eigendom van de Harzer Schmalspurbahnen (HSB). De locs bestaan nog steeds en zijn bij bijzondere gelegenheden te bewonderen.

HET MODEL

Train Line 45 heeft in 2016 een model ontwikkeld van de HSB 996101. Dit zeer goede en schaalgetrouwe model is de basis voor de gesuperde versie van de "99 6102-0". Na bestudering van het voorbeeld, zijn er aanpassingen ontwikkeld om van de 99 6101 een 99 6102-0 te maken. Zo krijgen de locs oa. nieuwe waterkasten, nieuwe keteldeuren en nieuwe vrij liggende leidingen. Alle wijziging worden met de hand aangebracht. Hiermee krijgt de loc de detaillering van een loc die normaal in een veel hogere prijsklasse thuis hoort.

DE TECHNIEK (opties met meerprijs)

Als u een topmodel koopt, mag u ook verwachten dat de decoder van topkwaliteit is. Daarom kunt u kiezen tussen een ESU Loksound XL 5 en een ZIMO MX696S met Däppen Sound. Deze twee decoders ontlopen elkaar niet veel. De keuze is meestal een kwestie van smaak. De getoonde loc beschikt over de volgende eigenschappen:
