Schon bald nach dem Bau der ersten Schmalspurbahnen kam das Problem auf, dass Güter an den Übergangsbahnhöfen umgeladen werden mussten. So suchte man nach einer besseren Lösung, eine davon war die kompletten Normalspurwagen auf sogenannte Rollböcke zu verladen. So ein Rollbock ist ein kleines schmalspuriges Fahrzeug auf das jeweils ein Radsatz des Normalspurwagens verladen wird. Für einen zweiachsigen Wagen sind also zwei Rollböcke erforderlich. Teilweise waren die Rollböcke mit dem entsprechenden Bremssystem der Schmalspurbahn (Druckluft, Saugluft, Seilzugbremse) ausgerüstet, aber es gab auch ungebremste Rollböcke. In der Regel wurden nur Güterwagen auf Rollböcke verladen, bei Personenwagen war das nicht üblich. Auch heute noch werden - vor allem in der Schweiz - Rollböcke zur Verladung von Güterwagen eingesetzt.

Set bestehend aus vier Rollböcken, wie sie bei vielen Schmalspurbahnen im Einsatz waren und zum Teil heute noch sind. Komplette Neukonstruktion. Auf zwei Rollböcke kann ein zweiachsiger Wagen verladen werden, es können sowohl Wagen mit 64 mm Spurweite als auch normale LGB Wagen verladen werden. Die Rollböcke bzw. die darauf verladenen Wagen werden untereinander und an die Lok bzw. an einen Wagen mit normaler LGB Kupplung vorbildgetreu mit den beigelegten Kuppelstangen gekuppelt. Metallradsätze. Länge eines Rollbocks 10 cm.
