30330 Rijtuig C3 31 mist een van de onderste instap tredes.

Die Schweizer Lokomotiv- und Maschinenfabrik (SLM) baute zwischen 1910 und 1926 17 der faszinierenden Zahnradloks vom Typ HG 3/3 für die Brünigbahn, sowie vier weitere für die Berner Oberland-Bahnen. Der Zahnradantrieb wird von separaten Zylindern bewegt, die gegenläufig und schneller als das Adhäsionstriebwerk laufen. Eine der Loks verkehrt heute auf der Ballenberg-Dampfbahn. Das LGB-Modell ist eine detailgetreue Nachbildung des Vorbilds und verfügt über einen voll funktionsfähigen Zahnrad-Antrieb. Wie alle LGB-Zahnradloks kann das Modell auch auf ebenen Strecken ohne Zahnstange eingesetzt werden.

Dreiachsige Wagen fuhren früher bei vielen europäischen Eisenbahnen.

Die Achsen sind beweglich gelagert, so daß dieser Wagen wie alle LGB-Fahrzeuge auch den kleinsten LGB-Gleiskreis durchfahren kann.
