This metallic acrylic paint is part of the Super Metallic II series by Mr. Hobby (Gunze Sangyo) and was specifically developed to achieve an ultra-matte aluminum finish on scale models. The color 'Super Matt Aluminium' is perfect for replicating realistic metal surfaces with a refined sheen, ideal for aircraft, vehicles, and other modeling applications.

Key features:

Color: Super Matt Aluminium
Contents: 10 ml
Paint type: Acrylic (with fine metallic pigments)
Application: Suitable for brush and airbrush (airbrush recommended)
Coverage: High coverage with a matte metallic finish
Thinning: Recommended 1:1 to 1:2 with Mr. Color Thinner or Mr. Rapid Thinner
Surface: Suitable for plastic, resin, and other modeling materials

Shake well before use as metallic particles may settle. This paint is an excellent choice for modelers seeking a detailed, realistic metal look without gloss reflections. Use in a well-ventilated area.

I like to experiment with different layout geometry and I focus collecting tracks with well-weathered brass patina. Grootspoor is a great place to go as they provide very comprehensive collection of 2nd hand tracks in different level of weathered conditions, and all well sorted for easy to search.

When they didn't have enough units of one of the products I ordered, they called me (very friendly staff) with two options; wait for new stock to be delivered to the store, or change it for a similar alternative. I choose the second option. After that, the delivery service they used led to a 3-day delay in delivery, but I cannot blame that on Grootspoor.

Company response:
