PIKO 37263 Sound-Dampflok BR 91.3 DB III

The Piko 37263 G Sound Steam Locomotive BR 91.3 DB III is a highly detailed steam locomotive in G scale, designed for dedicated model railway enthusiasts. This authentic replica of the Deutsche Bundesbahn BR 91.3 from Epoch III features precise details such as freestanding pipes, clear windows, and a meticulously crafted cab. The locomotive is sturdily built, perfect for outdoor garden railways or large indoor layouts, and offers excellent pulling power. The model is equipped with a PIKO Sound-Decoder for realistic sounds and digital control.

New for 2025: The T 9.3 type tender locomotives, with a maximum speed of 60, later 65 km/h, were used for both passenger and freight trains. In 1925, the DRG took over a large number of these locomotives and classified them as 91.3-18 and 91.20 in the drawing plan. After 1945, the decommissioning of these machines from regular service began, which was completed at DB in 1964 and at DR in 1971.
