Zementsilowagen der DR in Epoche IV mit grauem Rahmen. Die Entwicklung, Konstruktion und Fertigung von Zementsilowagen wurde nach 1945 von beiden deutschen Bahnverwaltungen DB und DR forciert betrieben. Nahezu parallel zu den Ucs 908 und 909 der Deutschen Bundesbahn begann auch die Deutsche Reichsbahn Ende der 1950er-Jahre, zweiachsige Zementsilowagentypen zu beschaffen. Da sie sich als langfristig nutzbare Spezialwagenbauarten ausgezeichnet bewährten, werden sie von privaten Einstellern wie KVG und VTG bis heute genutzt.
